Well, this weekly update gets difficult to do when there are as many events as we have going on. I’d like to thank a member, Kistian, for jumping in and getting Meetup opportunities out to us all. Plant The Plaza
It’s been beautiful outside and I sure hope it stays that way. NO MORE SNOW. Anywho… This Saturday we’ll be teaming with other volunteer groups to clean up The Plaza District. This won’t be difficult but remember to bring your own gloves and trash bags if you have any. If you arrive around 9:30 AM you’ll have an opportunity to meet Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips. http://pokc.us/a4SDHo

This is kinda huge… Ballet Oklahoma is rewarding anyone in our little ‘ole group who will hang posters around town this week for their event. If you’re interested in helping, RSVP at ProjectOKC and we’ll send you the information you’ll need, if there are any spaces left. http://pokc.us/amHG3h

Let Your YES be YES
We aren’t like Facebook where we’re all willy-nilly with our RSVPs. Many times ProjectOKC reserves tables or buys supplies for people who RSVP for our events. If you can’t attend, that’s cool, no pressure. If you do click that little YES button, please communicate as early as possible if you have to cancel as many of our events have waiting lists, which is kinda cool. :)

Sharefest OKC
April 17th non-profits and faith based organizations will partner for GOOD across the entire metro area. If you haven’t heard of this event, educate yourself! Over 100 groups and schools and thousands of volunteers are working together to SERVE the community. Check it out at http://sharefestokc.com.
